Stran's Folicle Adventure Shannon Pypper Leary
In the morning Pypper’s Brushing her hair in the bathroom mirror, while standing on a stepping stool. A strand of hair floats up and off her little paddle brush, when suddenly little eyes pop open and look around with wild confusion.” Carried by the flow of air leaking in “Stran” floats up and right out the window. A wind current rushes the little “Stran” in twists and turns. Until finally wrapping around the Antenna of a Mini Van. After a small ride “Stran” slowly Unraveled and glided back up and into the currents swoops and loops, only too land back on another car. Now this car was humongous, bigger than “Stran’s” little eyes could take in. It had a long rectangular box end and a small car attached to the front. By the time the amazement wore thin “Stran” found himself suddenly clinging to a long cold metal tube rite next to the beast’s head. Suddenly they stopped and a few seconds later the box was lifting up and magically moving. The movement caused a quick sweep of wind to tear “Stran” off the metal tube. Lighter than a leaf “Stran” once again floated up around and finally down landing on a suitcase which was being pulled by an extremely rushed “Executive”. The “Executive” entered an even larger beast with a round body and two bird’s wings that lacked feathers all together. Inside “Stran and his ride were shoved into a tiny dark space above everyone, and we were left there for hours and hours; maybe even days!! When the tunnel door finally swung open “Stran” was yanked out, and removed to be tossed aside. This time bouncing in and out, up and down, off and on everyone’s feet. Finally a man wearing corduroys snatched “Stran” right out of his frenzy. This time bouncing in and out, up and down, off and around the floor. “Stran flipped and danced on shoes and spun around legs suddenly landing on a ladies purse. The Lady who’s purse “Stran” had landed on reminded him of the “Executive”, the way she advanced through every nook and cranny of space in the stampede of people they seemed to be in the midst of. Until finally exiting through two colossal sliding glass doors. “Taxi!”, the lady wailed. “Taxxiii!!!!!!!!” After a few seconds of this a radiant yellow painted car cruised up next to the curb. The women quickly entered the vehicle and immediately started to instruct the driver on exactly where to go. When the lady exited the yellow car “Stran found himself discharged from the purse and spiraled down onto the yellow car’s floor. The next stop wasn’t long after the lady had left. The car door popped open and another lady entered this time with a little girl. “Stran couldn’t distinguish anything else about the women and child due to his horrible view point. After a rather lengthy drive the lady called out to the driver, “Oh, sir this is it, Thank you!” finally handing some kind of paper or letter over to the guy. While they were gathering all there belongings together the girl’s little Raggedy Anne doll swooped right over the top of the carpet where “Stran” layed. Abruptly swept him up and out of the yellow car. Suddenly “Stran” felt an odd familiar feeling. He had been here before?! When he peeked up at the girl carrying the doll it became wonderfully clear, he was home again, back where he started!!!! When the Lady and her daughter finally entered the house “Stran” was so relived and happy to be home that he resolved to station himself conformably under the couch on the soft rug. Where he spent the rest of his little “Stran” life watching TV and dodging the savage out of control vacuum once a week!!!!
