I Have My Own Dream...
Karina Lizet Perez

I have my own dream…

I wonder why we all criticize each other.
We are all different for a reason. I believe that
reason is that we are all different to visually
show who we are inside, our thoughts and beliefs.
For example, we will use the term “punks” many
people look at them as crazy individuals that’s
where the criticism begins. They are different
to show the people they are “inside” and the way
they look at certain things such as the government
and music. There are many other social groups
with different criterion based on what they think
are fare and what they believe should be done in
the world.

I have a dream that someday criticism will not
be in the world. We are all here to learn about
different people not to make judgments based on
just one source, your thoughts. I have a dream
that someday we all will be opened to new ideas,
even if we disagree with others beliefs we should
always be opened to peoples other beliefs.
Criticism is what begins “bad”, “evil”, “war.”
We DON’T need it in this world of ours.
I hope I can live to see this dream unfold.
Unfold in front of my eyes me watching us human
beings learn to respect, learn to not judge
before ever knowing the truth about a person
and there visual personality.

My dream is to see my future children and my
children’s children live in a world with opened
minds, minds with no room for criticism but
room for others opinions. To see my young brother
with new ideas everyday while still believing
in what he’s believed all along. This is just a
wonderful dream that will affect anyone and
everyone!

I have a dream today.
I’ll have this dream tomorrow.
I’ll keep trying to achieve my dream each
and every single day.

This dream I hope I get to see, even if I am old
and in bed without even being able to walk.
I hope I see a world through my bedroom window
a world that has reached its point to respect,
to believe and to achieve! We should not be
judged by our appearance but by whom we are
character wise. This will take time this may
be a goal that I won’t be able to be involved
in but I at least hope my family’s extended
generation does take action and live in a world
with different people which from whom they will
learn from.

This dream I hope soon unfolds. These children I
see I hope they will live to see a world of
no judgment. These children are the world they
are the ones who will be the future. We need
a future of a respectful journey through someone
else’s eyes. Opened to others believes is what
kind of person we all should be. Disagree or
agree with others we should learn to listen.
Now I hope everyone will soon say together
“Let freedom ring!”
