Thoughts Of The Night Of The 12th April 2010 E A Stonehouse
We know nothing. Yet life's performances manipulate this truth. The certainty is tainted, for we are not superior. Life's unfathomable questions are brushed aside, while the so-called knowledge that human kind beholds is paraded unashamedly; prancing around with a Hollywood smile. But underneath lies destruction - for if released, the unknowns of this world would strip us of our potency, our self-coronationed crown. I do not know, and I am unashamed. I do not search endlessly for what is clearly not for us to know. I accept that this world has its impossibilities and incapabilities for mankind, and I refuse to waste my time. I will not have strangers laughing at my expense; at my idiocy. And so I disassociate myself from this life that everyone else seems to be submerged into. I am alone, and that's fine by me.
