Happens All The Time

This always takes place between friends and loved ones. Guy/Girl problems. We always let our love lives get in the way of friendships and family. Why is that? Sure we all have or have had a relationship sometime or another. And we’ve more than likely introduced them to family or friends or even both. So why is it that we completely cross off family and friends when this happens?
I’ve done this in many cases in the past few years. I know many others have too. I’ve kept things to myself many times and I didn’t think they’d hurt anyone until I tell the wrong person. That’s when everything becomes complicated.
As of now I have a boyfriend and most of my friends don’t like him. Therefore I didn’t tell the ones who don’t like him that we were dating. Then I made the mistake of telling my ex-boyfriend and guess what he does? He goes right over to the girl that hates him the most and tells her. Now since she knows she doesn’t like me very much. Stupid mistake of mine.
Then theirs the flirting with friends boy/girlfriends. I know I flirt with friends but at least I make sure it never amounts to anything. If it starts to then I quickly avoid flirting with this person. I have many friends who would love to flirt with all the guys on the planet if they were available to them. That’s the only thing stops some of them.
I have a friend and she is the biggest flirt in the world. She’ll flirt with guys that are available or taken at any given time. She has a date for homecoming this year and he asks her out and she says she doesn’t think it will work. But what she’s really trying to say is that she doesn’t want to be tied down. If you have a boy/girlfriend you’re not necessarily tied down it just means you’ll have someone you can talk to and share your thoughts with. Basically a best friend with benefits.
Other things that usually happen, usually between friends, are lies and secrets. Which go on quite frequently between these sorts of things. Lies are used to cover up something that happens to be a secret. When a secret is out a lie usually covers it back up.
I have a few friends who don’t like another friend. But no one wants to hurt this friends feelings. So of course everyone puts on a mask and pretends to like this person. But one of these days some ones going to slip and it isn’t going to be pretty.
A true friend is the one that gives you a shoulder to cry on and advice when you need it. No one is perfect so why does everyone try to be? I wrote this so people can see what really goes on and for them not to mask what they really feel. Just remember these words ’A True Friend stabs you in the Front’. If you don’t know what it’s saying then you’ll learn as time goes on. I guess that’s what happens all the time.
