DESCRIPTION
Synopsis-
Even as a young girl she knew she was different, knew she had secrets that must be hidden from view. This story delves into the mind of a child as she grows into womanhood, as she learns to live with and deal with sexual abuse from the hands of her Father ..... and the abuse that follows her in the future, more importantly this story is about courage and perseverance, of abuse — sexual, physical, verbal — but not just about the abuse, but also the nightmares that echo long after the damage is done.
The hiding within the soul, the courage to endure and the countless stories you tell yourself while pushing the pain down below the surface and the struggles through life and love that you must challenge when as a young person you already have a "monkey on your back."

THE AUTHOR
A Native of the West Coast Florida area, Ms. Stewart has written in one form or another since the age of 9, mostly poetry, in which she was published for two; "YOU" and "SET YOU FREE", She also won an award (Third Place) for her poem "YOU" as well.
Ms. Stewart then turned her attentions to writing (slightly erotic)Romance Novels in her early Twenties,Two of which are posted on this site,one being published as of this writing, FIRE IN THE ICE . The other one of which is unfinished at this time. Ms. Stewart's Romance Novels depict that of the real man (i.e. Cowboy,biker,construction worker) as the hero, then the last book,(Non-Fiction) NIGHTMARES ECHO..published by Publish America...was penned when she was 40. With her husband's encouragement, he finally talked her into taking them all out of the drawer she had kept them in, wiped off the dust and put them on a site to be read by others.
Before long she was being featured on many of the child abuse/domestic violence sites across the web for her book Nightmares Echo..
She is also a wife,mother and a grandmother...as well as have animals her husband and she raise on thier little mini-farm. She volunteers part time for a Domestic Abuse Thrift Store and is taking classes to become a counselor for the abused.
