She was just an ordinary child. Why? Why did it have to happen to her? Nobody else knew what was going on in her head, nor why. All she knew was that this was bad. Her perfect life was just destroyed. Why? This is all that she could ask herself.
Her name was Zila.. She had just discovered her extraordinary power, nothing that has ever been seen in any ones soul before. Some people thought she was just pure evil. As she would walk down the hall of her high school people staring at her, like she was and exhibit at the science museum, and throwing things at her. Even the teachers were against her. She didn’t have many friends because most of them left her when Zila first discovered her powers. However she still had some friends who were loyal to her and always would be this she knew only death could pull them apart. They were blood sisters, not by birth but by their own choice. There were only 6 of them but loyal they stayed together forever. Their names were, Keitha, Kali, Khalidah, Kisha, Zelda, Zeva, and we all know Zila
It was a Friday. Zila awoke from another one of her nightmares she was not looking forward to. Oh yes Zila has more than one power. She can dream what is going to happen that day the next day or when ever she wants before she falls asleep if she thinks what she wants to know, it will be in her dreams, and it’s never failed her before. Her dreams are always consisting with people throwing things and heavy objects at her but since she can see this coming it never happens. Well except for one time. It was in the 8th grade, the night before she wanted to know what was going to happen the next day so she went to bed after thinking this and she had a dream, the boy she liked with all of her heart was walking down the hall, almost a sort of glide. He walked towards her and didn’t look back at anyone else. (He was a Goth like her)Zila turned and shut her locker. Then tried to walk off before what was about to happen could really happen. She tried to get to her class but right at the door someone touched her on the shoulder and said, “Wait, I need to talk to you Zila.” said the man who captivated her heart, Bryce Unger.
He repeated himself when she wouldn’t turn to look at him.
“Zila wait a minute I need to talk to you now,”
“Why? You have more to say Bryce?” responded Zila
“yes I do, the other day when I called you and told you that I would never go out with you even if you where one of the three remaining people on earth, me, you and well, her.”
Zila turned to see the girl he was pointing to, she struts down the hall everyday in either skin tight jeans or a skirt that if she had it cut and shorted many things would be revealed. Bryce stared at her with remorse, loving every step she took. Zila looked back at his sad pathetic face glaring at her. Zila finally stopped staring at his gorgeous face for a moment to say only but one simple thing to him.
“ITS OK BRYCE YOU CAN STOP DROOLING NOW!” she screamed with all of her might
She ran down the hall to her locker, number 13 and threw all of her things into her locker grabbed her book bag and what she needed like her spell books and the CD player and her CD case. And then she tried to vanish. Yes I know what you thinking this is her power she can vanish when ever she likes, but its not, this is just yet another one of Zila’s hidden talents who few know about. Not even he mother knows but Bryce knows. And he also knew exactly what she was doing. So before she even had the chance to try and vanish he jumped to grab her arm. He did not succeed I’m afraid he missed and hit the floor. She knew he was going to do this so before he could even get up she had her things in her bag and she was running from him down the hall to the stairs. Bryce jumped up and ran as fast as he could to catch her. But it would be no easy challenge
Zila flew down the stairs and went down all five flights to the bottom level way past the lobby. Then thru the new gym to one of the changing rooms and back out the front door and out into the cold. She then ran threw the front doors running back up the stairs to the tow floor, she then ran for the old copying room, nobody ever goes near there because it is known to be haunted. Yet it is nothing more than a simple small room with an old broken copying machine and some old broken chairs and desks. She knew she must have thrown him off by now, but then suddenly foot steps came running towards her, then they slowed and finally stopped. And she knew exactly who it was and where they stopped. The door to the old copying room opened and right there looking down on her as she sat in the corner of the room was no other than Bryce.
