Narrator:People never seem to willingly accept different
things. What I mean is people won't accept if someone is black, or if
someone chooses to be bi-sexual or homosexual.

SCENE 1
Wake up

Jassika:Good morning baby.
Lilly:Good morning bay.
Jassika:It's time to get up and get out to.....where ever ti is you go.
Lilly:Well for your info I lead a gay rights committee.
Jassika:Is that right!?
Lilly:Yeah
Jassika:That's why I love you so much.
Lily:Why?
Jassika:Because your not affraid to stand up for what's right and speak
your mind.
Lilly:I wish you were a little more like me.
Jassika:Me too.....,but sadly I'm not and I probably never will be.
Lilly:that's O.K. I still love you for you.


SCENE 2
Mom and Dad Convo

Marchester:I can't, and never will accept that our daughter is
a lesbian.
Sinklia:Come on March just pretend you do because they're coming over
in a couple of hours and I don't want her to feel non-accepted.
Marchester:Whatever!
Sinklia:well that's more like it, (whisper)- you stuck up cheap bastard.
Marchester:What was that?
Sinklia:Nothing.
Marchester:When Jassika and her girlfriend get here I will greet them with
a smile and a how do you do.
Sinklia:that's more like it.


SCENE 3
Before Arrival

Jassika:Well it's 5:30, and it's time to meet my parents don't act strange, just be
yourself.
Lilly:What do you mean strange.
Jassika:What I mean is don't act out of the ordinary, don't try to impress my parents
be yourself.
Lily:O.K. I understand just be myself, but what if I come off as weird or strange just
being myself.
Jassika:Don't worry just don't be nervous.
Lilly:O.K. let's go.


Scene 4
At the house

Marchester:How do you do, Jassi, and.....
Lilly:My name is Lilly.
Marchester:That's right Lillian.
Lilly:No! It's Lilly not Lillian.
Marchester:O.K., o.k. don't kill me now.
Lilly:Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell.
Sinklia:that's alright sweatheart, I hope you're hungry because
I made Chicken, Mashed potatoes, Collard greens, Maccaroni and cheese,
and some Ice Cold Ice Tea.
Jassika:Really mom!
Sinklia:No but we can go to K.F.C and get the same thing without all
the hassle.
Lilly,Marchester,Jassika, and Sinklia:(laughter)
Sinklia:Just kidding go wash up and I'll set the table.

Scene 5
At the table

Lilly:Well it's almost Christmas what are yuo doing for the holidays.
Marchester:The whole families getting together, you two should definetly come.
Sinklia:Yeah that's a great idea then it'll be the whole family.
Jassika:Yeah....I guess.
Lilly:What do you mean by that.
Jassika:Well just that I love you, My parents obviously loves you, but I don't
know if everyone else will.
LillY:Why what's wrong with me.
Jassika:Nothing it's just that the rest of my family never seemed to accept anyting I've
ever done in my entire life, so I know they won't accept you.
Lilly:That really hurts Jassi.
Jassika:It hurts me too I've had to deal with this all my life, but you haven't had
to.
Lilly:Oh I understand, don't worry it'll be fine.
Jassika:You say that now but wait until you meet my family, you'll think otherwise.
LillY:I still love you.
Jassika:I love you too.
