The Talented Kids

Walking on Michigan Avenue,
I come across a small music center.
Inside is a child at the piano and
hes playing Beethovan.
The teacher is telling him he is a excellent
player and deep down I hear the masterpiece
and see a classical genius in him.
Aside of him is a girl looking up at him
and smiling, and I can see she has found her
Ken. He continues to play unaware of her and
her feelings toward him, and the door opens and
his mom comes and gets him.
I say you know your kid is very talented and the
little girl says I agree and giggles.
The mom tells me he practices daily, and I say
well it shows as this kid is Golden.
The mom smiles and walks away to head home, and
the little girl says you know I play the Violin, and
she played twinkle twinkle little star.
I looked at her and gave her the thumbs up as the
teacher said would you like to join, and I say no I
just know talent when I see it.
She says you know from that far away: and I said
when you see a dream come true, ya know you met
your kids, and I calmly walk away and the little girl
grins with pride..
