Will They Think Anything? Illy Hameed
Someone told me to write a poem about anything It can mean, or happy, it can be truth or lies, many things, So I sat down to write, dreaming anyone can fly, But what good will it do without the wings?
Someone told me I can sing or dance, do anything Before I die, I really want to try, many things, So I sat down to write, dreaming anyone can try, But what good you do think it will bring?
Someone told me, I can be myself, be anything To choose right from wrong, I have to be strong and many things, So I sat down to write, oh these cruel friends of mine, Pulling me down has been always their thing
Here’s to those who thought they could say anything The mean words, the bully kinds, many things, So little we are compared, scared and lonely unprepared, But what good will they think, will they think anything?
