Fire of life
You've lost the light
that lit your way,
you peruse old thoughts,
but to your dismay.
Those feelings of wonder
So far away faded.
Soul searching you find
Life is dormant, you're jaded?
Over thinking days past,
you waste time but still sit
As dim as life seems,
Old embers stay lit.
So kindle your fire of life once again.
Escape to the now, old thoughts ; unfit.
Cherish the moments which made you smile.
To future endeavors, your thoughts ; commit.
