Drifting Dreamer

A drifting dreamer stands upon the peer
He looks upon the world
A world full of his tears
He looks out upon the water
For an answer for his lonely soul
Only to see the loneliness that it holds

The tears filled his eyes
His dream he could never see
For he saw only the loneliness that the world could bring
Never noticing the sun was rising as he stepped into that lonely world
