Looking through my window
Raindrops fall from the sky
And they make me wonder
If Angels are able to cry
She came to me in a vision
A mist surrounding a star
She smiled at me and vowed
Her love would never be far
She returned the following night
Her wings as bright as the sun
Nothing will ever come between us
She said; Our love has just begun
I sat by the window and sighed
Watching the night fade away
Avoiding her eyes, I told her
Shouldn't come if you can't stay
My angel cried that night
Her eyes wide in despair
She urged me to love her
Promising to always be there
Driven by the hurt of distance
I cursed the day we met
Harsh words I said to my angel
Words I'll forever regret
I broke my Angel's heart
I've lost her, as it seems
Now I cry myself to sleep
Echoing her name into my dreams
