Dream Love
Luis Felipe Moura
She came to me in a dream,
Her power I cannot deny,
Was she meant to be by my side
Or, perhaps, to make me cry?
My heart beats even faster,
Should I really be afraid?
I try to regain balance
But by my thoughts I am betrayed.
Confused and helpless
Tears run down my face
She looks at me and smiles
And heals me with her embrace.
When touching her lips
I feel the warmth of her heart
It's impossible to picture
From her being apart.
We hold hands through the night
But her love I cannot take
Will I be hers forever
Or, at least, until I awake?
