A surrounding darkness that follows me
awakens my deep feelings
Like a new soul being born
But the shadows of loneliness are still there
I try to scream...
There's no one near...
Silence...
That's my only response
I look back,
Searching for something
That will answer me why...
why things have to be this way
Will the pain ever cease?
I find strength in my spirit
But my heart is still weak
I try to cry...
But you already have my tears...
Silence...
That's all that I've got
I try to embrace you,
But you're not here
I whisper your name
But only in my thoughts
I can touch you
I've given you love
Like I never did before
I try to make you happy
All I needed was reciprocity,
And nothing more
The final tear,
The last one I've got
Does not express sadness
It has its own emotions
And it shows the shadows
that will always remind me
of what I never had
The final tear,
If only I could shed it in your arms
It wouldn't make
my dreams come true
But then, at least, you'd understand
how much I loved you
