Temptation

Lost
Coming or going, I'm sure of neither.
Want or have not, I cannot say.
Rebirth or damnation, it's unclear.
Present in the absence and absent in the presence, for certain.
Desiring life whole and completely real.
Obstructed by morality and virtue.
Patience and fortitude--neither satisfy.
My spiritual rock is faulted.
A test or an answer?
Time will tell even though it doesn't always heal.
If God is love, and love is God
how could love beget sin?
The Fix
I no longer fight to make you appetizing in my realities or fantasies.
I must set aside the Eucharist to free you from my soul.
While pillars collapse, my love falls freely spilling to
delicious men half my age and twice my appetite.
I wade out into fantasy, bobbing in and our of lost and found.
Let Me
How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways
your smile melts me from my heart on down,
or you appear our of nowhere everywhere in town.
Let me count the ways
your spirit zaps my soul with electricity,
and your kindness calms me from within, setting me free.
Let me count the ways
your hair flows over your sculpted shoulders as your body seems to glide
and the way your bad-boy ass grabs my eye every time.
Let me count the ways
I want to put you in
and the ways I'd love you if you wanted to begin.
Intentions
Your purpose cannot be mine nor mine yours.
But if you're on me on purpose and i'm on purpose on you,
it is quite possible our purposes will meet while
we do it on purpose.

their light toying with my soul.
Your sharp smile pounces to pierce my wild heart
rendering mind and body motionless.
I wait for you to swallow me whole.

You way thrill every inch of me.
I want to thrill your inches every which way.
As I inch closer, you inch away.
As I inch away, you inch closer.
Can't we inch way closer to see how we measure?
It's a matter of time.

It's time that we matter.
