As soon as I saw; your smile and your face
I left the earth’s orbit and shot into space
With stars rushing past me I felt every where
Consumed with emotions, blink? I didn’t dare
My mind it goes flying the future a whirl
Your first steps and words your first kiss from a girl
And then I come crashing back to the ground
Look in your eyes, as you don’t make a sound
With wonder and hope I look at our son
I love you so much your new life’s begun
