In My Garden August Nyghts
I have sunshine and glowing faces
There are trinkets and treasures in every step-all places
In my Garden
It’s never cold,
Rows of seeds have been planted
Stick around and you’ll see them all grow
In my Garden
I have raindrops and morning dew
Where sprinkles of love pass through
There are tiny toes and big bare feet
Kisses in every row-it is there we shall meet
In my Garden
Bubbles and fairies play
Insects prey
And there is never too much to say
In my Garden
I rely on truth
I give life with my torn glove
Where there is soil there is room for more Love
In my Garden
I can run with you
I know where the day begins
And where the night will end
In my Garden
I watch everything grow
I hear the words the animals, insects and plants all know.
In my Garden
That’s where I go
Because colors are bright
and sing through the darkest of nights
In my Garden
Stories of old and new
So so many
Not just a few
Oh Garden, Garden-O-Plentitude
Tell me again – my friend
My friend – tell me again
That there is no end
Tell me again and again till my hearts content
Nothing bends My friend
Nothing weeps
In my Garden...
...That’s where I am
