Dear Mister Keys,
Thank you for all the doors you have opened and allowed me to pass through.
When I think about our past, present and future I say wow....I am in eternal debt to you,
for keeping me out of the cold and always on the go.
Do you remember that time I forgot you in the grocery store?!
I KNOW I KNOW - how could you forget that tragic moment in life.
!!!!Well I Almost Died - I Tell You!!!!
My heart dropped to the floor as I frantically raced around Andreas'house
Wondering Hoping Pleading and Begging
for you to be there
SOMEWHERE
But No!
you were there!!!
In aisle 4 next to the seltzer water
I know that's where I left you
OH the SHAME I have - tell me you have forgiven me
And they really didn't even care
Damn Communists!
-All standing around with blank faces
"oh, are these the keys you called about before?"
YEAH two long hours ago
I could have strangled them with my bare hands-you know
"yeah thanks"
the song "Reunited" played over and over in my head
while I danced around the room with you
all the kissing, hugging, pleading and relentless apologizing -
did it get me anywhwere?
Ahhh, it didn't matter anyhow - you were back in my hands
My Darling Mister Keys I just thought I would let you know..... that I use you each and everyday
and I know -that you know- how very much I love you so.
I look forward to all our meetings and I will see you very soon.
