My guardian angel heard my anguished cries
To save me from the devil, deception, and lies
He found me when I had reached my end
My soul, I could no longer defend
He lifted the darkness and showed me the light
Opened my eyes and restored my sight
Looked deep within and showed me true love
Embodied within me rapture never dreamed of
His arms protectively holding me near
My angel soothed me, banished my fear
He healed the scars of my wounded heart
He touched my lips and compelled them to part
Tenderly he bestowed upon me the sweetest kiss
Flooding my being with serenity and happiness
Once again, I am filled with heavenly light
My spirit returned, saved from eternal night
For my angel quieted my soul’s unrest
From the devil, my heart repossessed
