August Nyghts
A Jack Russell Terrier is your breed
Poison to you I would in fact feed
At first you were so admirably cute
Now I debate with my big black boot
Launching you clear into the sky
Do Jack Russell Terriers know how to fly?
Your yap is piercing at midnight
Again I think about a certain flight
Barking now at 2 am
Damn it, damn it - DAAAAAMMMMN!
Awaking in a hijacked cloud
Must you be annoying and loud?!
Yowling now at 4 am
Where the hell is your best friend?
I’d like to ring his drunken throat
Stumbling in at 5 without a coat
Take your dog for a fricken walk
Before you find her outlined in white chalk
Breathe in………… real deep
Oh look -6am- I have had no sleep
In they walk with wagging tails
Fuck the good morning I now have 2 broken nails
Missed my dreams
And to top it off
I have coffee but no Hazelnut Cream
So I will take it black
Sit back
and plan my silent and merciless attack.
