Draw me to your secret place;
oh Lord
where i would die
where my sins would no more live
where black reminiscences would varnish and
Beelzebub will go; not with me.
To your secret place;
oh Lord
where my offences will be unmasked
and i would acquire magnanimous muscle
for yonder ahead –
which for me; too remote.
Oh Lord,
to your secret place
where to me, the rivers of your Temple
will flow, fetching healing to the nations
with the leaves of the tree of life.
