ABOUT
THE AUTHOR
I consider my writing to be a younger, new style of writing that I created through reading Hitchcock, Puzo, and King, that emphasizes heavily on certain parts and lightly on other events comparitive to David Lynch's films. [February 2004]

Lies To Succumb To Her Passion Reagan Rothe
For as I lie here in my own Hell
Hours of the cold, dead night
I ponder over our trials of love
Trying to succumb to the light
Was it love, or was it passion?
Such a strong word it appears
Like a phantom in the dark
It grows inside, and so do our fears
Burning blonde with eyes capturing
A web, she spun, with haste
Sheltering the emotions surfacing
But yearning to give her a taste
Tribulations of pain await us
I lie, they’ve already passed
I lie again when I say I don’t love
I lie a final time, saying “This is the last”
Is it my heart that knows best?
Or is it my head?
Neither of them matter now
The promises of passion are dead
A wayward, staggering youth
Attempting to shed my skin
Deviations necessary, hate induced
When love is on the line, I must win
We’ve done each other so much wrong
In my twisted mind, I have sinned
Forgetting is the solution of all solutions
Who was I speaking of again?
