Broken Francesca Angelique Carrillo
1)Fallen Angel
Iridescant irises,
closed in the chrystalic
comfort of lost dreams
(They're hollow now,
filled with hopelessness and regret.
They sparkled with innocence once)
Grossamer, silver wings;
clipped, seeping of human
fratility, fluttering vainly
against swirling vortex of
grinning confusion.
(Wings laced with rustic decay
struggling against the enclement of regret)
Silver flash,
pummelting from the burgandy,
angry sky,
wrapped in twisted arms of depression,
choked by rotten roots of deceit.
An unfinished verse,
A song unheard,
A broken melody,
A falling angel.
2) Lost child
Lost child,
You ask why I call
You that?
Tears streaming down
Your rosy cheeks like
Raindrops dropping
From the angry sky
What horrors has
Befallen, such tragedy
Greedily taking your sweet
Innocence aside?
Lost child,
The eyes are windows
To the soul, so hard you
Conceal it but thus further
Reveal,
Anger like no other flowing
Freely in a torrent,
Irreplaceable sorrow coursing
Steadily by it’s side.
What horrors has
Befallen, such tragedy
Greedily taking your sweet
Innocence aside?
Lost child,
I see your bleeding heart,
The wounds gaping like
Spilled blood, blood
Together with broken
Glass and soul
What horrors has
Befallen, such tragedy
Greedily taking your sweet
Innocence aside?
Lost child,
Before you decide to fade
Away, erasing your pain filled
Existence forever.
Remember, that hope
Still clings by the ranging
River.
3)Broken Glass
Prolong silence
In the black abyss
Of my soul,
Suffering mutely,
A cry of anguish
Burning through
The mere hole of
The mouth.
Reflection of a
Porcelain human
Mask;
Eyes deceiving,
Concealable yearning,
Lips bleeding, firm
And peeling,
Bottled words of
Unspoken feeling.
Fool for the God,
You no longer believe
Fool for the world,
Who was all but deceit?
Fool for yourself,
Crying at broken
Glass.
4)Spoiled Girl
Poor little rich girl,
Beautiful fragile
Porcelain China doll
Black eyes,
Dolefully ignorant,
Brimming tears of
Pleading innocence,
Closed lids
Black dazed expression,
Savoring fantasy
Hallucination.
Mind in gray haze,
Walking in fabled illusions,
Ears playing deaf,
Lips sealed mute, denying
Reality’s harsh revelations
Spoiled girl,
Poor little rich girl,
Beautiful fragile
Porcelain China doll
Wake up,
Wake up,
Open your eyes
And see the world
As it is
5)Resentment
Object of your ridicule
You mock my intelligence,
You insult my soul,
Think yourself any higher
We'll see who's truly the fool.
Spewing insulting language
With your darting foreign tongue
Twisted contorted face,
Spoiled, reeking of ignorance
Of what you take for granted.
Closed lids behind the suffering
World,
Scheming manipulations,
Used for endless tasks,
Golden triumph turned to ash,
Cursed for your own ends.
Deaf, blind, mute you I think I am,
Cursing, sprouting obscenity
I hurt, I see, I hear, I feel,
Yet you need my knowledge.
Yielding to your poisoned, bittersweet
Tongue; cleverly woven carpet of
Intricate lies, the price of trust,
Abused, paid, until usefulness has
Outlived.
Displaying all loathing behind a
Curtain of a weary smile,
Resentment seeping through
Unseen cracks beneath the fragile
Porcelain human mask.
