In the thick of the battle in the heat of the night we came face to face and started to fight
I still remember it all the look in his eyes we were locked in a stance yelling our battle cries
A duel to the death this we both knew determined to win we'd do what we had to do
I made the first move Slash, Perry, and Thrust I have to gain this kill live through this I must!
Perry, Slash, Perry as anopening came to pass one final deadly Thrust the killing blow at last
Too late to turn back time he knew what he did wrong it was fatal but not instant my enemy will not live long
I stayed and payed my respects yes, I was there when he died we shouldn't have fought that way we should've both been on the same side
We both believed and fought for a cause that was right and so our paths met on that dark and deadly night
Now, certian forces will never move forever frozen in time in the fields of Vietnam we all committed a crime

"Wow, you were a Vetran in the ARMY? Me, I was only a veteran and the regular old army...you must have been good to have had the E omitted and your corps capitalized. Oh...maybe I should read the story. A real review shall be up in a minute." -- Tyrant.
"Upon reading, it occurs to me that you strained yourself and forced in every rhyme you could. Of course, I'll assume you were sick and delusional in the service, malaria or some such other third world disease fogging your brain, as you misspelled Parry a number of times and overall spewed out a forgetable poem chock full of craptacularness." -- Tyrant.
