When You Left Jeni Jopes
9 last days to make you see
And try to make you happy
8 last nights of crying rivers
And getting in return fevers
7 last breaths before we go
And that's one thing that i do know
6 last laughs and smiles and cheers
And not much to hide from your fears
5 last hugs to say good-bye
And apologize for starting to cry
4 last tears slip down my face
And i thought it was a good pace
3 last waves from me to you
And memories came back of what we did do
2 last calls before you hang up
And my confidence drops
1 last time I'll be with you
And I'll be there the whole way through
0 last days, nights, breaths, laughs, hugs, tears, waves, calls, and times
But I know you'll always be mine.

"*****This was good. I liked the way you counted down from 10, that was a different style.I know exactly how you feel, i've lost tons of friends who had to move away. But, i still try to keep in touch w/them ,though it's hard. Good luck-good writing." -- d donely.
"Wow, JJ, this is really good! that's really all i've got to say about this one...(read the one I wrote under Sara Roggy called "Walking Alone:)" -- Sara Roggy.
