The waters reflect her soul
Waves mirror her gentle expressions
Still, He's not there with her
Stars keep her company
Darkness gently wraps her
Her face shines more than any
Still, He cannot see her
She tries to reach him
But he always hides away
A true princess of the night
Still, she cannot be with him
For many years she's waited
And the moment has finally come
When they can finally be together
Still, their time is borrowed
He approaches her and smiles
The light of his love shines on her
Their kingdoms at last united
Still, the eclipse won't last for long

"A skilfully constructed poem, with a sad ending..no mention is made why they cannot be together...perhaps she or he is married to someone else...however I like the way you have avoided mentioning this...the reader is challenged to ponder the relationship and why it cannot be sustained. Wonderful imagery..a recurring theme of darkenss..."the eclipse won't last for long", "Darkness gently wraps her", "A true princess of the night", "Yet another night has come ", "Stars keep her company"...which leads me to conclude that she is no Angel of Light..but something a little darker.
