Don’t tell me “Later On”
Don’t offer me rainbows
I’ll look up and you’ll be gone
Don’t tell me “I’d Like To”
Or “I Wish It Could Be So”
If you can’t make it happen
Turn me loose and let me go
Don’t promise me “Forever”
With a plastic golden ring
Don’t tell me that you love me
If it doesn’t mean a thing
“I’ll See You Tomorrow”
“Maybe I Will Spend The Day”
I hear what you’re saying
