Still Happy To Be An American Just A Guy
I've never be more proud
To have been born an American
Watching the jubilation in Iraq
As the people realize they're free
Tearing down the statutes
For all the world to see
The torture will finally stop
Husbands taken in the night
Children sent to prison
If they refused to fight
No longer will be tolerated
It's not the fact we fought and won
That makes my chest swell in pride
It's the fact we were willing
Didn't stick our heads in the sand and hide
And no one has earned more respect
Has truly shown some courage
Than good old boy, Tony Blair
Stood tall, watched people around defect
Risked all his political capital
Walked side by side with Bush
Gained his place in history
Now that really took some guts
Don't think the lefties and peaceniks
Will change their minds a bit
And watch the learned columnists
As they have their hissy fits
Tell us that we were wrong
That everything was fine
But look at the happy Iraqis
They sing a different song
Young Americans and Brits
Carried out their duties
Didn't gripe or grouse
Faced the job before them
Some made the ultimate sacrifice
No, we're not there to conquer
Just there to liberate
God Bless America
Sadaam's finally met his fate
Oh, BTW, fuck the French
