What happens when your feelings are hurt?
What happens after that?
Do you feel sorry for yourself?
Or move on?
What happens when a loved one goes?
What happens in the months after?
Do you hope they'll come back?
Or move on?
What happens when a friend is lost?
Do you hope for a new one to replace them?
Or do you wait for them to return?
All I know is that I'm hurting now,
And I don't feel like waiting or moving on.
So what happens next?
