ABOUT
THE AUTHOR
I'm a 17 year old student who aspires to be a writer of many sorts. At the moment I'm still experimenting with different Genres and have still to find a catogry which I excell at most. I have also written a novel, which I will type up and submit at a later date. [June 2000]
Withered are we beneath the velvet sky Hoping for some shelter from the storm Or some loving arms to protect us from the void Wrapping us away in a blanket of love and warmth. And when no one comes are eyes will cry And tears will fall like petals from a rose This will go on until the last petal, the last tear Falls slowly, slowly Which is when we will stand naked and see the truth the beauty or perhaps the reality of the real world.
A LONELY TEAR
A tear, so lonely, so desolate, slides down her face To sit there, is to walk away unknowing and uncaring Ask her what's wrong and her heart will start to race And then she will tell you As the tears dry up Her doeful eyes rest on you Searching for the answers, you no longer have to give You then shed a lonely tear too And you wish that it is you Who has only two more months to live.

"I've never been particularly into poems, but these were really good, especially the first one. And the second one was so sad. And they are short, which I like when it comes to poems!" -- Paula S, Hamilton, Scotland.
"Keep writing Vicky! You are off the a good start!" -- R. Bennett Okerstrom.
"You have got real talent. Keep at it." -- Ian Goodall.
