Standing here on the balcony
Warm night, soft summer breeze
Arms wrapped around you
Holding you close
Looking out over the water
Waves no longer crashing
Just gently lapping the shore
Taking their break from a hard days work
Tomorrow they’ll start up once more
Can you feel my heart beating
I can feel yours
And there’s nothing could be so fine
As just you and I
Beneath starlit sky
Not a care in the world anymore
Soft music drifts over the water
Seems in sync with the reflections of light
They come in a thousand colors
Bounce back into the night
This day’s that one in a million
When everything seems so right
