I spend time watching the BBC
For its definite insight don't you see
It's in your face odd commentaries
I might even get a glimpse of the Queen

Drunken MPs caught in sorted affairs
Covered so splendidly on the English air
Brigadoon and that royal British might
Tonight on the Tellie soccer fans' fight

Beneath the flutter of the Union Jack
They stare in camera and give us a smack
Burning Yankee Presidents effigies
Count on real coverage by the BBC

"hehe that was spot on mate!" -- km.
"Thanks, KM. I just love the BBC!" -- e. rocco caldwell.
"some great shows but way too anti-american for my taste which i guess makes it right up your alley huh?" -- curious.
"Here's a clue....life in this world isn't always about America! Anti-American isn't what the BBC is...it's giving a different point of view that isn't filtered through the American media...I like various different perspectives in order to get the whole perspective!" -- e. rocco caldwell.
"I'd have to agree with "Curous." I'm not impressed by different perspectives per se' no matter how entertaining you may find them. I'm only interested in the truth. If all news stories were reported objectively, accurately, and completely, There would be no need for different perspectives. We would all know the truth. However, BBC AND the major American networks rarely tell us the whole truth. They in fact, edit the truth before reporting it. They love to report bad news and news that makes America look bad. Most of the people in this country were smart enough to figure this out, which is part of the reason the liberals lost the election. " -- Richard.
"Richard, get a life! This is a poem...nothing else...I did it in 10 meter and it was suppose to be a funny piece...you are way too serious...sound like me you're working for the GOP! you need to simplify, man!!!! Get off all that and enjoy poeple and things as they are...no sweat...no attempt to pollute your beliefs...heck! I can care less about what you believe! Take a breath...relax...that's it...now take another breath...there! Isn't that better?" -- e. rocco caldwell.
"Well my dear chap I would say absolutly spiffing, jolly hockysticks and all that.keep them coming and rule Britannia.D" -- diana venditti.
"three cheers for the mighty Brits, without them we couldn't do they keep the Irish blood still flowing with the orange crew. I did like your tongue in cheek piece on the BBC though. " -- Brion'.
