Kennedy O Obohwemu
He was born a unique being,
A precious kid with great light;
And this He's always been,
Lovely kid with great might;
He chose a lowly place,
In a manger was He born;
So bright appeared His face,
More gracious than the morn;
Wise men came to see His light,
They brought Him special gifts;
Shepherds rejoiced in His sight,
Their low spirit He uplifts;
His presence brought great joy,
It was felt in the Temple;
Such a bright little boy,
Loved by many people;
Among His peers a bright star,
A different kind of Hero;
In little things He goes far,
A strange,unusual fellow;
Too great wisdom for His age,
The doctors even marvel;
Such sound knowledge at this stage,
He'd use it against evil;
But He's really like the rest,
Only brighter by the day;
Full of zeal and unmatched zest,
This truly is His way.
