My Recurring Dream Katherine Smith
Prolonged movements in the depths of the oceans seems to speak
to me from the unsightly abyss in which my mind goes tumbling, lurking
in the obscurity of my silhouette as the shadows feed. Apprehending the ways
of which the mortals are, I soon come to realize I am not one of them. These
insignificant creatures commuting in one hostile world sickens me, for not one
can be different. I on the other hand chose to voice my opinion and lure the un-
suspecting non believers into my palace, so they too can truly grasp the correct
connotation of fear.
Diversions and lies of another world, cover ups to protect society
from what they most fear, for what these humans do not know can not hurt
them, if this is truly a fact, then why is it killing me?
Alas, they all assume I need help, for I
want noone to save me, only myself. Do not fear, the end is soon to come,
you all have provoked it, didn't you see, it was only a matter of time?
Perhaps even now you still deny what is here, nothing but barren land endorsed
by fear, honestly it really doesn't bother me, for I saw all of this,
my recurring dream.
