When does life truly become death?
We're never completely gone.
From the moment we take our last breath,
When our bones are buried beneath stone.
Our bodies, a cocoon for our souls.
Becomes like a butterfly, free to fly.
Blessed us all with God's baby dolls,
Look down on us from the heavenly sky.
When does an Angel earn her wings?
We're all born with the ability to fly.
Don't become blind to life's simple things.
Nobodies immortal but there's no need to cry.
The day I saw them lie you down for eternal sleep,
Was the day I realised life lives on forever.
In my heart you'll always stay, in my safe keep.
I'll never let go, I know we belong together.
I don't think life ever becomes death.
I still feel you beside me each day.
I pray to God each night to give back your breath.
And until I meet you again, in my dreams you’ll always stay.
