Scream
Danae Bonomini
these tears that run down my face
may never see the truth
they hide some lies behind a disguise
my emotions scream
as your team
pins me down
and tells me not to make a sound
i toss and turn
and inside i burn
my fear is higher
as i scream "you liar!"
they stop and look at me
turn out the lights-
impossible to see
darkness surrounds
as all his friends hit the ground
as your gun loudly sang
with a huge bang
"its just you and me now" he says
i have so many regrets
and now im going to have to pay
as i sighlently lay
curled up in a ball
and trying to crawl
as the phone rang
i heard a powerful bang
everything was lost
for just a small cost
but there was nothing i could do
to really help you
theres blood everywhere
as i sit alone and swear-
"you fucking idiot! it was just a dare!!"
and now your gone
and our baby is born
all our lives are torn
because something simple
turned out so wrong
