Autumn Dream Lissa N Metz-Gomez
One Autumn morning
Sweet, crisp, swirling air
Like the first harvest
Of frosty apples
I awoke to find
Myself in a dream
Crystalization
A shivery warmth
An iced, feathery
Wonderland is my
Window pane. Inside,
The flame warms my soul.
A rich, caramel
Presence. Comforting,
Like a symphony
Playing on the strings
Of my melted heart.
