If only I could understand
the complex simplicity that makes a man
I try to work them out and then
they go and change it all again
‘I care for you’ I hear him say
Then flirts with others anyway
‘I really don’t want this to end’
‘Oh, I’m moving 200 miles this weekend’
Another guy I used to date
Told me I was still his soul mate
I felt the same right since the end
But then I found out about his girlfriend
Another guy I used to know
So fragile I was afraid to blow
I’d ask, what would you like to do?
He’d say, I don’t mind, as long as it’s with you
Not a bad idea I hear you speak
But we’d only be dating for a week!
He told me he loved me after three
at five I ran when I heard ‘baby’!
Another guy, who gets a verse
Seemed to just get worse and worse
Nice enough, kind and funny
But he always stole my money!
I sound like an ungrateful witch
With all my moans, a little bitch
But is it really too much to need
I guy who I don’t have to leave?
All I want is someone who
Will be my friend and act a fool
Have a laugh and no evil trait
Someone who is my soul mate
He doesn’t have to be Brad Pitt
I just don’t want a total sh*t
Share a romantic meal and wine
Slob out with a pizza at mine
Someone who till talk til three
Hold my hand and laugh with me
trust me, never cheat and lie
Just an average normal guy!!!
