Everyone's Crap

Looking back at the sin I committed
Even though I know I’m forgiven
The things I did caused lots of pain
To me and those around me
The days now draw near
It will soon be a year
And all I see is this confused little girl
With an empty heart with nothing left to give
Alone in this world no one willing to listen
To the things going on in my head
I’m just so tired of putting up with everyone’s crap
They pour it all over me
It’s so overwhelming
And no on I know
Not even my best friends
Will shut up to listen
Because they’re too busy ranting
About their same old problems
Over and over again
Always wanting me to be
Their middle man
And if I make just a little peep
They’ll turn it all on me
And tell me that I’m not listening
It never accrued to them
There is more to life than them
And I can’t just bottle it up all again
Even when they close their mouths for just a split second
For me to tell them what’s going on
They node their heads as they watch my lips
My words float off to empty space
And all I need is a shoulder to cry on
But all my friends seem too distant
And my brother I’ve learned not to trust
He never takes me seriously
He always judges me
And talks about the things I say or do
Even when he promises not to ever tell a soul
So I sit alone with my paper an my pen
Scribbling out little clips of my frustrations
So I can stay sane in this moment that was given to me
