The Game Of... Wanderer Bass
Depressed and sad,
anguish is in my blood.
And from that blood
it spills.
With the cold touch of Death.
Bandadged up,
I have become.
Stained with the wine of my body.
Blotches running down my arm to my elbow,
getting the surface red and wet of the once white
but now crimson bed of which I sleep upon.
I am so confused, what must I do.
Emotional is my body.
Depression is my heart.
Next, I am brought back
to the macabre feeling
of the cold, separating touch of Death.
Hooked to support, who needs it.
Let me go, don't bother to catch.
I am alone, clothes damp from the tears of wine
from which I shed.
I'll rip off the support, who needs it.
Keep your syringes, pep pills, and vitamins.
I don't need your petty supplies.
Just let me go back home and play my game.
The game
of Death.
Sixth day, wonder what will happen.
Star plus a circle, etched into the flesh across my chest.
I'm close to sleeping, fading away.
Just one more turn, one more time to play.
Blotches on the clothes, skin, and floor.
The taste of salt in my mouth.
And I play one last turn before I must end my game.
The game
of Death.
And I am on time-out.
Permanantly.
From having fun and playing with the vampiric embrace from
the cold, separating, metal touch of Death.
