The night is long
The stars are gone
what’s left are just traces of memories
both yours and mine
I can feel myself losing
In my own mirage of thoughts
as I rest in your secure arms
Right now, this moment, right here
your warmth is warmer than the sun
your heartbeat is better than any songs
your love is brighter than the sunshine
If only time were to be so indulgent
would it even have the ability to stop itself
under the vindictive clout of destiny?
When the dawn breaks in a few hours
I know I’m going to sob
and break down till I fall apart
you said you loved me more than anything
I wonder, did your words get over your head
when you gazed into my eyes with a charming smile
and said those lovable words to me?
Boy, I feel like you’ve just pierced my heart
I can still sense the guilty pleasure
Shivering through my nerve system
Tonight the dance has waned
like a long lost sweet ancient history
Tonight may be our most joyful day
out of all the thorny days we would face
Don’t swing into denial at times like this
Look at me into the innocent eyes
I want you to feel how I feel
Don’t smile that sweetly to me without musing
’cause tonight we learnt the sweetest sin
we’ve come to a point of no redemption
with that taboo we committed, not so long ago
