Cough & Drop Colin Baker
Yes I remember cough & drop The name, because one afternoon Of heat the doctor came to school Unwontedly. It was late June. Our teacher scanned the list to-hand, "You're first in line!" he cried to me, In our bare classroom, next I saw The doc's white coat.....OH CHRIST!....A SHE! She hung green curtains from a rail, Then called my name out loud....Oh heck! But barely had I time to care, My shorts and Y-fronts hit the deck. Her palm somehow, was blue with cold, Yet even so, I dared not flinch, But still a nightmare thought stopped by; -What if my whatsit grows an inch?- Yes I remember cough & drop The name, because one afternoon Of heat the doctor shouted 'COUGH!' Then cried, 'You're fine!.....Who's next?...MULDOON!'. (with thanks to Edward Thomas)
