High heels and fake nails
Spiraled hair with glistening clips
Dramatic eyes and Sweet Talk lips
First time jitters
With nervous chattering smiles
Dorky young boys
Hardly making a noise
Having mom pin the roses
Taking pictures, standing miles apart
Ordering ravioli’s, so we could share
Trying to look cool, as people stare
Matching turquoise dresses
Not planned at all
Getting asked by different grades
In cute and special ways
Requesting our favorite songs
Dancing the night away
Finally getting the hang of things
Having fun, on our last homecoming
