Oh the wind in my hair
And the sun in my face
She approaches with the stare
That makes my heart race
She might be another fling
That summer seems to bring
But even at that, and everything
My hearts still sings.
Summer is so cruel
Claiming and gathering its fools
Let us be different
Lets change the rules.
Lets take on the sea
Lets walk among the stars
Lets feel the sand at our feet
This time is ours.
Were among many
Feet upon the beach
Learning lessons summer seems to teach
The amount of time we share
May not seem fair
But lets just smile
Summer lasts a while
Ill learn to appreciate your hand in mine
Even after the sun yields to shine
Because right now were together
In these middle months called summer
