This family is one
Our hearts have met
Our love as strong as the sun
Lighting the days of our lives…
Shifting the clouds of our skies…
We’re cherishing every minute, every hour
We will not be broken
We will not shatter.
The storm of grief may come near
But we are together
We shall never fear.
You can try and chip
This diamond of a family
You can try and rip
This square
But when life seems hard
When it seems unfair
We turn to our love
It is so rare…
…Like the eclipse
That shadows the earth
…Worth more than all the gold
Anyone has or could ever unearth.
Oh and don’t worry
We are aware
