Vexatious Tara Bridget Moore
I am bothered by the lazy drawl of your hip,
Provoked by the brush of your tongue past your lip,
I am vexed by the petulant curve of your back,
This surely makes up for what other men lack.
I am bothered by you when you’re fixing your tie,
Get breathless and piqued when your gaze meets my eye,
I am moved by the ease of your swagger and style,
Get bothered some more with the hint of your smile.
I am distracted by thoughts of a heavenly bliss,
When I think of the warmth and taste of your kiss,
From the top of your head to the tip of your toes,
You have an allure that just heightens and grows.
With sensual hands and a voice that commands,
I imagine the lure that your passion demands,
At a loss for all words in your presence alone,
Breathless indeed; you could never have known,
That little by little, with a magical spell,
The more that I saw, the deeper I fell,
Into the embrace of your charm and beguile,
Forever provoked by the hint of your smile.

"This poem provides a sensuous evocation of female passion. The verses are lyrical and well sculpted, offering an alluring but ultimately artistic rendition of love and attraction. The rhyme scheme adds to the lyric flavour of the poem overall, and leaves the reader with a sense of romantic grandeur. " -- Derek Richer.
"Derek, thank-you for your very thoughtful review, it is appreciated." -- Tara.
