James
wakes up
obsessed with something
everyday.
usually finding love
or sex
makes no difference
to him.
Lonely
except for the
voices
that talk to him
all day
pretending to be
some former love
or friend.
Sometimes
he tells me
he may as well
die
happiness will never find
him.
I tell him
to never stop hoping
or searching
because in death
happiness finds
no one
But in life it finds us all
eventually.
