You were the music,
the dance
and the beat.
You were the music,
the song,
the lyric.
You were the music,
The melody,
and beat.
The heart in your chest
Like the base in my drums
getting louder and stronger
with every beat.
and then,
one day,
an unexpected surprise,
BAM!
and finally
the song was complete.
but the memory lives on
in our hearts and minds
your songs survive
because music never really dies.
and now I realise,
it has all become clear,
you are the rhythem,
you ARE the music,
the dance
and the beat,
you ARE the music,

and lyric
