Seasonal Senses

Spring touches the heart and soul
The smells and sounds rain down upon your nose, flowers and tree, bird song
senses are heightened, its overwhelming
Summer lightens the mind and body
Joy brings light rain, pattering down, keeping you in, but spirits high
All kinds of food to taste and fun to be had
Fall brings reason as summer dreams fade
Touching the last of summer that falls with the leaves that crackle underfoot
Fun was had, now it is time for work,
Winter goes hand in hand with longing for spring
Seeing kids playing in the snow, rolling around with blue noses, laughing loudly
Christmas cookies bring nutmeg and cinnamon tastes
