Been a while since I've posted anything. Didn't realize that the author description is erased when you do.
All of my poems are pretty much sad love poems. I have a couple of lighter ones on here from high school.

I'm gonna miss doing the things other couples wouldn't do
I'm gonna miss getting all done up for the festival of pride
Had the makeup and a flower behind the ear my friends would've died
Gonna miss the bike rides we had planned to do
But most of all I'm gonna miss us, me and you
Gonna miss our special love, so one of a kind
But now that love is only once upon a time
Like a story you tell with a smile on your face when you're old
Gonna tell them how hard we tried but finally had to fold
Gonna miss our nicknames yours was Kong and mine was Kong =P
Feeling sad so I decided to write this song
Not sure when you will see this since I've no idea when
We will see each other let alone speak again
Gonna miss you saying, "Where did you come from, JR?"
I'm gonna miss all the fun times we had in my car
You're so close but it's like I'm a million miles away
It's so hard for me to go on each and everyday
I even miss my stepson Henry Higgins, yes I really do
But nothing matches the feeling of missing me and u
I miss our weekends now they drag forever and a day
I think about how all this happened, we fade away
Gonna miss the frisbee, railroad, and our park
Now the memories of those times are getting dark
Gonna miss my best friend in the whole wide world
Now she's gone and here I am alone in the world
Gonna miss our Nile of Blue we loved to eat
And all the subs we ate remember, get em' on wheat
And don't forget our Noble Fish and taro bubble tea
Now they're gone just like us, no more you and me
Just a memory like our Fours, they're made no more
Getting drunk on the way to bars was never a bore
Gonna miss us stealin' drinks, my partner in crime
Halloween and all those nights, we never spent a dime
No more meals at Big Boy, like we loved to do
Fish tacos, Late nights, that was me and you
Discovering Detroit is no longer fun
When there's two of you but not when there's just one
Renaissance and dressing up not many couples do
Another thing that made us special, me and you
I'll have my birthday chicken dinner alone this year
Paddle boats and sampling wine brings rivers of tears
Try'na think of those fond mem'ries with a smile
But a frown is all there will be for a while
A hole much too large for even Mighty Mend
Can't believe it but this truly is The End... =*(
